Application Forms and Downloads
Before Applying for Funding Click on the following link and read both the "Purpose" and "Who may apply" sections listed under each grant opportunity:
2010-2011 NASA WV Space Grant Consortium and NASA EPSCoR List of Programs
1. A hard copy of the grant application (except for the recommendation letters) must be received by the designated deadline. Additionally, applications must also be electronically submitted on time.
2. The main body of a proposal (including introduction, background, literature survey, problem definition, methodology, expected results, budget, and schedule) may not exceed five single-spaced pages, using font size 12.
3. Each award category is judged separately based on published criteria. However, the NASA WVSGC Board Committee will review all submitted proposals and consider each proposal's total scores, combined with other considerations, in reaching a final award decision.
4. Each PI may submit no more than one proposal per category.
5. Proposers must be very clear about the goals and objectives (what they propose to do) and the methodology to achieve those goals and objectives (how they plan to execute the project).
6. NASA funds may directly benefit U.S. Citizens only. By accepting an award, the PI is acknowledging that he/she meets the citizenship requirement.
7. Indirect charges on Space Grant proposals are not allowed and the waiver of such charges may not be included as a component of the required cost share.
8. The use of NASA funds for foreign travel and purchase of equipment is prohibited.
